Dr. Meera Narasimhan, DDS
Dr. Meera Narasimhan is a family dentist dedicated to helping families learn the importance of good oral health. She emphasizes creating a positive experience for both the child and the family, ensuring that going to the dentist remains a positive experience.
Dr. Meera has completed extensive training in Invisalign, implant dentistry, comprehensive dentistry, orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry, temporomandibular dysfunction, and sleep-disordered breathing treatment. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and has earned the Top Invisalign Dentist Award for 2018 and 2019 consecutively. Dr. Meera obtained her dental education at the New York University College of Dentistry in New York City and completed her student residency at Lincoln Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Brian Karshen
Periodontist
Dr. Brian Karshen graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry in 1996. He later received his certificate in Periodontology from the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry where he was trained in all aspects of periodontal treatment and implant placement.
Dr. Karshen is a past President of the Englewood Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Karshen enjoys coaching his kids’ sports team and family outings.
Dr. Cale Atteberry
Born and raised in Central Illinois, Dr. Cale has spent the majority of his career taking over his father’s dental practice that was started in the 1970s. After meeting his fiancé in Chicago after Covid, Dr Cale and Allison relocated to the western suburbs to start a family with the recent arrival of their daughter, Jones.
Completing his dental training at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2017, Dr. Cale has been fortunate to work with some distinguished senior dentists over the years that have provided extensive mentorship and allowed him to operate at a high level in all areas of dentistry. Every patient has unique needs and priorities when it comes to their oral health, and Dr. Cale will always listen, educate, and communicate with photos to ensure we have a desired outcome that is conservative and sustainable.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cale loves to golf and pursue anything active that is outdoors with his family. He is very honored and excited to be a part of the Sunshine Dental family.
